Fall Drive

I took a Sunday drive to enjoy fall in Utah before it was too late. Okay, I've been trying to get Catie used to her cat carrier, so today I decided she could come with me and she was soooo cute. I sure wished that Callie and Gracie could have come with me, they would have loved the drive and would have loved the whole Catie situation. Fall in Utah is so beautiful. I love it. Seriously, I'm trying not to be the typical single cat person...hee hee. I'm getting Catie ready for her road trip to Houston to meet Cookie :)
Catie wondering what the heck is up. I kept her bag zipped up until she was somewhat used to being in the car. There were still some vibrant colors. It is late in the season so a lot of the leaves had fallen and the colors were more muted, still so pretty.
On the way home it was neat to look out over the city and see all the fall colors. This picture doesn't begin to compare with how it looked in person.

Halloween Preview

It was so much fun to meet up with family. We attempted to go to Gardner Village to see the fall decorations. Wow, that was a bust. It was Witches Night Out, 100's of women dressed up as witches. It was so claustrophobic that we were there for about 20 minutes and we all were ready to go. We picked up dinner and went to Steve and Jaimes for a relaxing dinner. The kids showed me their Halloween customes. Elsa modeled her mouse ears for me. ADORABLE!!! It was fun to see Steve and Jaime's vacation pictures. They are so cute together and Jaime looked like a model. The cruise looked like so much fun, now I want to go to Cabo, the water looked so beautiful.

Thanks Michael!!!

Since I will no longer have my lap top through the State, Michael totally hooked me up. He is amazing. He transfered everything from my State computer (files, pictures, music, etc.) to an extra lap top he is letting me use. What would I do without family???? Michael and I had a fun afternoon together. We went to lunch and had a nice long chat. Steve joined up with us to go see the movie "W". It was so nice to be able to have time with Steve and Michael. I do have the best brothers in the whole universe.
