Happy Birthday Michael!
Michael is such an awesome brother. He always seems to know the right time to give me a hug or knows just the right thing to say. I love that Michael is both compassionate and brilliant. His mind is always working trying to figure out how to create, invent, improve, and progress. I mean it says a lot that he owned his on Jaguar before he turned 16 and he has already owned and sold a business. I admire that Michael is not afraid to take risks. I appreciate that Michael is always willing to help me out and with such a great attitude. A few birthdays ago, Michael and Ashli came over and helped me paint my living room. It meant a lot that they were willing to spend the whole afternoon/evening with me. Michael also has a great sense of humor and is uplifting to be around. Even though there is a big age gap between Michael and I, I am so grateful that we are so close. Happy Birthday Michael, I love you! I hope you do something fun to celebrate your day!

Catie aka Hissy Cat
Catie rolling around on the balcony!
This entry is especially for my niece Callie! When she was really little she named Catie "hissy cat." It cracked me up because Catie would hiss; however, Callie was not afraid of her at all. I remember I heard Catie hiss and shortly after, Callie walked in the room holding Catie like a long wiener cat and said "I'm an animal lover, so she isn't afraid of me." It was so funny. One time when I visited Callie, we both seriously had the hardest time saying good-bye, we cried and cried. She kept saying "Why do you have to go?" Becky finally said, she has to go feed "Hissy Cat, you wouldn't want her to starve would you?" That was the only excuse Callie would accept. Even though Catie may occasionally hiss (less now that she is getting older) I think she is a sweet cat with a whole lot of personality! She sure does a good job keeping me company. i love her! I'm hoping this will encourage Callie to hop on a plane and come visit me and "hissy cat!" (Cater also!! Last time he was up, Catie loved him. He must be a cat tamer or something. She would go rub up right against him).
Wow, maybe I should call her seizure cat! Gracie, Ethan, Elsa, Cater, Callie, Hannah, Parker, Ben and Summer...COME VISIT US SOON!Happy Birthday Brother Bear!
Happy Birthday Steve! I am so lucky to have you as a brother. I always love the time we get to spend together. You totally crack me up with some of the mission stories you have shared, especially the ones involving the "grizzy rumble!" I love watching basketball together even if we are fans of different teams :) I remember that I loved watching you play soccer when you were little. The tripper man soccer clip is a classic and one of my favorite film clips ever. We've had some really great times throughout the years....cantaloupe, vacations, just hanging out, laughing, freezing cold nights down town (temple square in December) celebrating holidays together, etc. Thank you for our chats and for always being there for me, especially the last few years. I always feel good when I'm around you. Thank you for being such a good example to me and for being an awesome brother. I love you!!!!!!
